After-School All-Stars New Jersey (ASAS NJ) is proud to partner with Outdoors On Purpose, the Urban Agriculture Cooperative, A Day At A Time New Jersey, and God Is Great Apparel for our annual Thanksgiving Drive.
As an annual tradition of ASAS NJ alumnae parent Tenisha Malcolm’s ‘Outdoors On Purpose’ organization, this initiative gives back to those in need within the Greater-Newark region.

The produce and food items will be provided by the Urban Agriculture Cooperative. The UAC operates as a food hub in Newark that provides fresh produce and goods from local farmers and wholesalers. With this, all recipients will receive top quality items for their holiday meals.

With a simple $30 donation, families will receive a fresh bag of produce and other holiday dinner sides.
To support, send your donation to $TenishaMalcolm on Cash App or tenisha.malcolm@gmail.com on Zelle. Additionally, non-perishable food items will be collected as well.
On Monday, November 20th, donation box packing will occur at the Greater Newark Conservancy (32 Prince St, Newark, NJ). Volunteers are requested to arrive by 8:45 AM for packing will begin promptly at 9 AM. We are scheduled to end packing at 12 PM. Later that day, pickup of the boxes will occur at Dimensions of Light WOTCC (14 Livingston Street, Newark, NJ).
