After-School All-Stars New Jersey announces new strategic partnerships with the Modern School of Dramatic Arts and the Early Learning Financial Literacy Program.

Newark, New Jersey – After-School All-Stars New Jersey is excited to announce new strategic partnerships with actor Marc John Jefferies’ Modern School of Dramatic Arts and Andrew Scott’s Early Learning Financial Literacy Program (ELFLP).


Modern School of Dramatic Arts (MSDA) was founded by Marc John Jefferies with the intention of giving aspiring, young, actors accessibility to affordable Acting programs. Marc John’s sole desire was to not only give them the opportunity to master their craft, but also become working, successful Actors. We are delighted to partner with Marc John in supporting our schools through an innovative acting program.


Early Learning Financial Literacy Program (ELFLP) was built to ensure that minority youth get the knowledge and skills to manage their financial resources effectively for lifetime financial security and financial freedom. Early Learning Financial Literacy Program is committed to focusing it’s efforts on combating the financial literacy crisis with an emphasis on basic personal finance skills that are relevant to the lives of pre-teens, teens, and young adults.

Marc John Jefferies

Marc John Jefferies is not only a renowned Actor known for a multitude of films including Losing Isaiah, The Haunted Mansion, Get Rich or Die Tryin' and Notorious, but he's also an Acting Coach. Over a decade ago, Marc John founded his Acting school, Modern School of Dramatic Arts (MSDA).


The Modern School of Dramatic Arts was originally founded by Marc John Jefferies with the intention of giving aspiring, young actors accessibility to affordable Acting programs. Marc John’s sole desire was to not only give them the opportunity to master their craft, but also become working, successful Actors. MSDA is a school that fosters and nurtures talent while creating a safe space to explore the depths of their inner workings.


Recently, he expanded MSDA both online and in school classrooms in New York and New Jersey. Apart from his passions of Acting and Coaching, he’s a Producer who recently produced a movie, starring Omari Hardwick, and was able to cast 5 of his students in prominent roles.


Andrew Scott Sr

Andrew Scott Sr. is a financial educator for youth in urban areas. Through his company, An Early Learning Financial Literacy Program (ELFLP), Andrew has created a financial education initiative that has impacted over 3,000 urban youth and transformed the way youth understand financial literacy.


The Early Learning Financial Literacy Program (ELFLP) was established to ensure that minority youth receive the knowledge and skills to manage one’s financial resources effectively for lifetime financial security and financial freedom. With a diverse client list that includes community outreach programs, schools, and families, ELFLP offers education, shares best financial practices, and provides access to available financial resources.


Through our partnership and added insight from the Modern School of Dramatic Arts and The Early Learning Financial Literacy Program, we look forward to providing our scholars with new experiences during their enrichment programming.
