ALL-STAR AMBASSADOR PROGRAM OVERVIEW:

Founded in 2017, the All-Star Ambassador Program

was created to build impactful opportunities for ASAS NJ scholars and communities.
Ambassadors are passionate change agents, ready to take positive action.
Membership offers growth in leadership, service, advocacy, character-building, and achievement.

We look forward to seeing the NOW generation leading in starlight.

ALL-STAR AMBASSADOR REQUIREMENTS:

• Actively enrolled 6-8 grade ASAS NJ scholar

• Overall good standing with ASAS NJ and the school site codes of conduct

• Positively consistent attendance in the ASAS NJ program, courses & activities

• Consistently demonstrated excellence in academics (minimum B- average) and ASAS NJ programs

• Outstanding positive leadership, strong communication & dependable

• Ready and available to advocate for your passions and community & service-learning projects (volunteering)

• Commitment and available for a full year of service: meetings, initiatives, volunteerism, events, outings, etc.

• Guardian/family consent and support (including transportation, project completion, and attendance allowance, etc.)

• Complete, on-time submission of candidate requirements

• Selection by the All-Star Ambassador Program advisory team for formal induction​

​​​​APPLICATION & SELECTION PROCESS:​

1. ​​​​NOMINATION/ INVITATION TO APPLY - Scholars may be nominated or self-nominate

2. APPLICATION & GUARDIAN CONSENT - Includes form and essay or writing sample

3. INTERVIEW - Professional-style interview for selected candidates

4. SELECTION - Based on eligibility, application, and interview

5. INDUCTION - Formal ceremony to welcome new Ambassadors

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Not all applicants will be selected, but they may be offered other leadership opportunities.
Selected Ambassadors are expected to remain engaged, committed, and present throughout their full term of service for all meetings, initiatives, and activities.
