Ideal Candidates
Are highly skilled and have formal classroom experience, a passion for working with inner-city youth, and 1+ year of instructional or related youth development experience.
General Qualifications

Eligible to work in the USA with children; clear fingerprinting, background, and Tuberculosis checks

Some post-secondary undergraduate or technical career study
-
Available to work the assigned work schedule without conflict
-
Experience with children in large group instructional, coaching, or camp settings
-
Love working with children; connection/passion for mentoring Newark/Paterson/inner-city youth
-
Strong classroom and group management skills
-
Excellent proactive planning, and organizational skills
-
Ability to work collaboratively with district, program, parents, and community leaders
-
Effective communication with sensitivity to others and swift response to critically urgent incidents
-
Ability to professionally and positively give and receive feedback, implementing necessary changes
-
Compliance with the company, site, and/or school district/network policies protocols
